Open House & Visit Days

Welcome to Powhatan School!

We invite you to visit and experience our beautiful campus. Come learn about our innovative literature-based curriculum, small classes, the NEAL program, foreign language and so much more! Teachers will be on hand to talk about what goes on in the classroom and give you a glimpse into the Powhatan Tradition. There is no better way to get a sense of what Powhatan School offers than by joining us for an Open House. All interested parents are invited to attend:

Open House & Shadow Day Options: We encourage prospective families to spend a school day with us through our Open House & Shadow Day programs. Students are immersed in the classroom for a day with their peers, while parents visit with administrators teachers and students through a variety of programs.  RSVP required.

Open House & Shadow Day:  Friday, October 7, 2011       8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Open House & Shadow Day:  Friday, November 4, 2011   8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Weekend Open House Options: If you cannot visit with us during a school day, we offer two Sunday afternoon programs for you to engage with our campus community. Your visit includes a campus tour, a faculty panel, meeting school leaders and an opportunity to meet our students.

Open House:  Sunday, November 13, 2011       1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Open House:  Sunday, January 15, 2012       1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
