Decades of research unanimously supports one logical conclusion: The best thing that you can do for your child is to get involved and stay involved.

Powhatan firmly believes that when schools work together with families to support learning, children will succeed not just in school, but throughout life. Subsequently, Powhatan offers and encourages parent involvement in every aspect of their child’s education.

The Powhatan Parents’ Association (PPA) incorporates the talents of every Powhatan parent and provides opportunities in fundraising, parent volunteering, and community service.
