Thanks to the work of all our teachers and especially Ms. Davis and Ms. Bryant, many members of the greater community will have a brighter holiday season because they have been touched by one of our performances. The season culminated with the gift of our own traditional Carol Sing for parents, grandparents, alumni and friends on December 21. All grades participate in the annual performance that has been a Powhatan School tradition for more than 60 years.

  I send my children to Powhatan School to prepare them for the rigors of secondary and collegiate education. A love of reading, tenacity in approaching and solving problems, and necessary strong work habits are some of the tools that Powhatan provides. I feel confident that they educate the whole child with strong programs in the arts and athletics. As the parent of an eighth grader, I see the confidence on stage, in the classroom, and on the athletic field that sets our children apart from their peers. It is an investment that I am more than willing to make given the product offered.
